Engineers have typically tried to induce aerobic load in the user by applying a resistance to them.

They have done so with little regard to the natural dynamics of rowing or aerobic exercise.

Such resistances include;

• Hydraulic Resistance

• Magnetic Resistance

• Frictional Resistance

• Air Resistance
